Haven Acres Drainage Project, City of Tupelo

Tupelo, Mississippi

Haven Acres was a major drainage improvement for the City of Tupelo's Drainage Task Force Commission. The project consisted of clearing and stabilizing approximately 2500 feet of Coonewah Creek, placing rip rap and constructing a Department of Transportation-specified bridge on driven piles. The project was completed within budget and ahead of schedule.

Century Constructions worked as a subcontractor to Charles and Vinzant where our scope was all storm drainage and inlets, erosion control, all mass grading using onsite dirt, extensive undercutting of nearly the entire site, and fine grading. In addition, Century Construction performed all asphalt and concrete demolition.

West Jackson Street Project

Ridgeland, Mississippi

Century Construction served as the general contractor on this project. We completed all dirt work, utilities, storm drainage, asphalt paving, decorative lighting, decorative fences and hand rails, decorative benches, and signs. This project had approximately 25,000 square feet of decorative stamped concrete and approximately 900 square feet of decorative concrete retaining wall.
